Men and women are equally shallow (American or not). American men are just more honest about their shallowness.

If you are indeed beautiful then its quite obvious that your ugly fiance is rich or enhancing your career in some way. Otherwise you’re not as beautiful as you think you are.

Sometimes we just wont admit the beautiful truth.

oh my god you people are being so shallow and knarrow minded but hell u are mostly americans so im not surprised. well beauty is in the eye of the beholder as that old saying goes.these guys mybee ugly to some people but not to thier girlfreinds their is something they like about them. but i can’t stand whiny men or self-obesesed men. i mean all guys bug me just certain ones in particular make me cringe. i agree with lynn about the double standrand. the problem is these so called ‘ugly guys’ go whining to sites like yahoo or awnser bag that women are being mean and shallow to them i’m going to say this to any of these whiny ‘ugly guy that might read this get over yourself every one gets rejected get over it because if your face dos’ent drive people away your whinny ass attudie sure the hell will shut the hell up noone cares

My uncle who is short fat(when I was single) had lots of attractive females, that was because of his nice cars and money,he’d didn’t treat them females nice.

first off i wanna say “hansommenrock” your a whore. its women like you that need to be raped by the “the hills have eyes” guy. Second, beautiful women date ugly men my ass. ive seen plenty of above average men with ugly or plump women, i NEVER see beautiful women with 300lb men or unattractive men. if you arent 200lbs or less and average or better then your with large women or nasty women, and if you finally succeed in getting a good looking women, then it rarely lasts because she cheats or leaves you because of everyone telling her how much better she could do, just because of the guys looks. its all crap. yeah hot ladies will date RICH men, because they are shallow, but take money out of the equasion and its back to women being stupidly picky.

It’s a predicatble story, a woman waits around for a man to marry her and he’s thinking how the hell do I extricate myself out of this situation.

In no way is Beth up to Howard’s intellectual level and as long as she is suitable as a blow up doll, Howard will tolerate her very undistinguished personna.

I’m wondering who Howard’s domestic attorneys are. It won’t be a difficult case unless Beth gets herself a sharp New York lawyer who is on the same level of Howard’s battery of attorneys. In any case, she be well reimbursed for the eight years of sexual labor she’s put in.

She will never forgive Howard for denying her the right to have a child or children of her own and Howard knows what women get like when they are denied their natural rights. It cost him half of all he earned to be rid of Alison.

I don’t think a wedding is going to take place. Howard is too street smart to get tied up in a situation he’s seen many rich men get into before him.

Beth has Mr. Ed’s mouth and her voice has the timbre of Arnold Stang. Beth is not USDA Prime but, never mind, what an insipid, vapid gal she is. This aw shucks corn fed, country, high school gal is going to do a fast one, Howard once she’s got your balls in a vice.
If this wedding ever comes off, you’re going to see what the real Beth is like. Holding it together all these year’s while waiting like a dog for the master to throw her a bone! How humiliating making you get naked to receive this gift of HIM. I squirm when I read about these two. Baby, you haven’t come a long way. Howard is no sweetheart. Remember how he humiliated his wife to get rid of her? Howard is a complex and spiteful man. Stay away from him.

It is a terrible double standard, since for centuries, impossibly “beautiful” women seem to be the only ones acceptable enough to be seen, (it’s still happening now with the incessant messages aimed at us to “fight the 7 signs of aging” to get rid of “unsightly wrinkles”, told of the horror of admitting our age unless we are under 30, that we must get rid of “disfiguring blemishes, spots, scars”). We are constantly being told how ugly & repulsive we are unless we are under 30, painted and hot, while ugly, older and imperfect men are frequently out there, championed just for who they are, giving the message that men are still acceptable, funny, lovable even if they are not sexually attractive. Where are the messages telling us that we have other values other than being attractive to men?

For example, I BET men wouldnâ€™t choose to sit down to a movie with a wide range of ordinary and even ugly or old women with 2 or 3 extremely hot young guys being the only males represented. Would you like that formula ALL the time? I doubt it, so why should we have to put up with it?

Surely we could be forgiven for getting angry about the unfairness of that. Iâ€™m not at all surprised that opinions like the one at the start of this thread exist. It is only the same thing that has been always been expected of women. The only difference is that we have accepted it as reality all these years, when the minute a similar opinion is aimed at you, you donâ€™t like it.

What an interesting gal Bethy Wethy is. Gosh, a woman in her mid-thirties still talking about how she loved high school! I imagine so, being surrounded by all those horny toads at that time.
